This review is biased by the fact that I have not yet actually used the shampoo bar, but the alluring scent alone makes me want to wash my hair. The fragrance is not at all what I expected...it is so much better! I look forward to smelling like this shampoo bar.

This shampoo bar is AAAAAAMAZING!!!! The smell..omg. It's heavenly. And the scent lasted quite a while in my hair. My husband couldn't stop smelling it :) The best lather I've ever had with a bar. It really helped with frizz, and my locs were literally squeaky clean! I highly recommend. I have finally found my go to dread shampoo. I also received a sample of the cedarwood bar, and I can't wait to try it! I will be a customer FOREVER
Got it in the mail today and used it right away.! I have Freeformed locs so this really helped get deep in my roots and troubled dandruff areas. It's easy to rinse, IT SMELLS LIKE YOU CAN EAT IT & the smell stays, and your head will feel the best it's ever felt.... I also got a sample of Nag Champa which also has a great aroma.... This is a well spent 13 bucks.!!!
I've been only growing my baby dreads naturally for a few months. I just received my order of this amazing shampoo bar. It smells heavenly, my fiance loves the smell of the bathroom after I wash my dreads. This shampoo lathers amazingly, gives a nice clean that doesn't leave my baby lioness dreads lifeless. Customer service is amazing. I was looking for the highly recommended charcoal shampoo. She sent me a free sample of it. Highly recommend both the goddess bar and the charcoal soap.

I ordered this bar along with the Nag Champa bar and Dragon's Blood Liquid shampoo. I'll do separate reviews for those. I haven't washed with the Goddess bar yet, but it is definitely a full-body scent! Very robust, floral and sweet, a bit overpowering but still pleasant! Glad I got it for when i'm feeling very girlie lol! Love this company! Also, I ordered it on a Saturday night and it arrived on the next Wednesday afternoon post!

Amazing! Shipped quickly, beautiful scent. My dreads feel amazing and they smell incredible!
This is so lovely. The scent was spot on to fit what I was looking for. There was no residue left and I feel refreshed and confident that I have clean and sweet smelling locs. I will definitely be buying more in the future, hopefully at that time there will be more products (shampoo in liquid, tightening spray etc) with this same scent
This shampoo was great!! It left no residue in my hair, really helped tighten my dreads.

This shampoo smelled just divine, juicy, floral and fruity - the only downside being the scent didn't stay very long after washing, boohoo. However, also this shampoo bar washed my locks like a charm, leaving them squeaky clean, soft and fluffy. The only thing I'd like to change in this shampoo is the longevity of the lovely smell after wash - I wish it stayed longer!
I got a chunk of the Goddess bar as a sample along with my Sandalwood and Tonka Bean order (which is also fantastic). The second I smelled the Goddess, I was ahhhh-mazed. It is possibly the best smelling product ever made. I used it as many times as I could. I've tried three different scents of the shampoo bar and they are awesome. At first I was concerned how the soap would rinse out, but it fluffs up like a dream and rinse out easily and cleanly. They make my hair super soft and delicious smelling. I love these shampoo bars and suggest them to anyone considering them! If you're *thinking* about ordering one, do it, you will not be disappointed.

This shampoo bar smells wonderful!
It's light and has the right balance of fruit without being overwhelming.
I originally bought this for myself and my boyfriend chose it out of the box of goodies.
Like all of the shampoo bars, it leaves little to no residue behind.
It cleans and leaves a light fragrance that leaves people wondering what you're wearing.
It takes a little longer to rinse out compared to other dread shampoo bars out there, but it leaves soft locks.

Thanks for including a sample of this in my package! It smells so lovely. I'll probably order a bar on the next go 'round. In case anyone is reading this that hasn't purchased anything yet--do it! The products clean very well and the fragrances are just wonderful. The convenience and quality are what brings me back. Vicki hand writes thank yous in the packages and there will usually be a sample included. Super awesome!

Was so happy to see this bar in my mail today. scent was so good smelled it for 20min before i could put it down. kinda like sweet flowers and citrus. washed out great no residues just clean healthy dreads. i would suggest this shampoo to any one dreads or not. P.S thanks vicki for the free sample of herbal Smells Great too!
A+++! Words cannot even begin to explain how amazing this bar of soap is. The shampoo bar has a vibrant, fruity and just fantastic smell. This is first purchase I have made here; I actually based my purchase from the reviews - someone had said the smell was that of Victoria Secret's Love Spell. Although I don't use those types of products anymore because of all of the icky ingredients, I did really like the smell - and the Goddess bar does smell very similar to that scent (minus the toxins)! My natural baby dreads are almost 5 months old - and I wanted a natural, ethical product that would nurture them without harsh chemicals or residue. Dreadlocks Shampoo is just for you- residue free and cruelty free with priceless results. My dreads feel awesome and smell amazing. Excellent customer service and very fast shipping - I received a handwritten note along with a free sample of another shampoo bar. I cannot wait to buy more soaps and try everything out _3
Oh my god, I never knew I would love this Goddess bar as much as I do. I don't have dreads, but I am a black woman with natural hair, and this shampoo is perfect for natural hair. I've only just washed my hair with it today, and it already feels sooo much better. Not only is it an amazing shampoo (my hair isn't drying out, and looks SO much better), but it smells better than a lot of the fragrances I own! I'm tempted to start washing with it too, haha.
Shipping was fast, and there was even a handwritten letter with a sample of Dragon's Blood (which smells AMAZING! I'm definitely ordering it the next time I shop here!). I'm so hooked on this! I've already recommended this to all of my dread-having and natural friends. :)

Another Oh My God I love the smell. I opened this and every one around me wanted to smell it. I cleaning my hair with it and it was wonderful soft and wonderful smelling. I've order from here before this shipping is fast, and well done. I've even been in the salon and the hair dresser, begged for the place that i got my shampoo. I'm completely in love with the products. Hope to help make sure a lot more people know about this place.
I just realized that on my previous review of this product I accidentally gave the Goddess bar a one star rating - I would like to change this to 100 stars, but 5 will have to do I guess :) After almost two months of use, I am even more pleased with this shampoo - my scalp feels great, the surface texture of my dreads is almost felt-like, and new growth is locking in more quickly than before! I love washing my dreads now - no more "dreading" shampoo day! Getting ready to reorder - more soap and some locking gel!

This bar is amazing!! Not only do my dreads feel light and soft, they're also locking and helping my 1.5 yr old locs develop nicely. The smell wasn't what I had expected, but very feminine,soft, and yummy :) I get compliments on how my locs look and smell all the time...and the only thing to blame is this bar :) I would definitely recommend any shampoo bar from this company :)
I've been using the Goddess bar for a couple months now and am blown away by how amazing it is. The scent is beautiful and alluring. The bar makes my dreads feel so light and clean! My dreads are still only 4 months old, but I find this bar perfect for my hair type, as I am prone to naturally dry hair. It has helped make my hair soft while still allowing it to lock up just fine! 5 stars, hands down!
I am speechless. The blend of essential oils in this soap is amazing - and what it did for my 7 month old dreadies is even better! I have hard water and with the weather getting colder, my scalp was getting so dry & itchy. I was using a deep cleansing shampoo but I wasn't happy with it. I just used the Goddess dreadlock shampoo bar and my scalp feels great. My dreads feel light and fluffy. The scent is amazing. I also purchased the Nag Champa and I will be back for the Dragon's Blood and Herbal bars. Thank you for making such great products.

When I got this dread shampoo I was extremely impressed with not only the scent but also the amazing quality. My dreadlocks have never felt like they were in better condition!
I highly recommend this product and I found it completely worth the money.

OK, I have been attempting to dread my hair for YEARS but my hair is very fine despite the fact that I have alot, and it's curly. I'm puerto rican, yet my hair just ISN'T as dread friendly as I thought. After many methods and products, and acv/backing soda rinses, I have FINALLY found something that WORKS! I literally JUST got this soap, and showered JUST 5 minutes ago...and never have I ever experienced the most wonderful thing of having to actually SEPARATE my dreads because they knotted so well in the shower. This soap tangled the HELL out of my hair and the pain of separating was a bittersweet awesome moment. I finally am getting somewhere. Upon it's arrival, I could smell the bar through the packaging and let me tell you, this soap...is DELICIOUS. It TOOK ME PLACES, I went to nirvana, I swear. Most Def 5 stars for this one! The smell hit me like WHOA! HOLY SMELL-GASIM! It is a wonderful...fruity/sweet scent. I think this is my favorite scent so far. Love the way the bars lather, and rinse out in seconds. Love Love Love!
